Wildwood Buggy Bash 2010 (Spring Thing) – Update

Corey and I will be there Wednesday evening at the Apollo. See you there!

It seems most Buggyers including Jesse and I are staying at the Apollo.

Hi everyone. I should be down again this time for the bash on Saturday or Sunday. I’m still a bit new to everything, but am improving. Was at Wildwood a few weeks ago and I had a blast going up and down the beach. Saw Brian, Ragden and a few others on the beach. Cant wait, hope everyone has good time.

Well ya know the DR will be in. Im planning on coming down fri, so those of you that get there early will have great wind on wen and thur. Not sure if we are doing the camping thing yet.
Its a shame that most of the chatter is going on over at that lame site that all the little girls post at rather then here.

Any one with a GPS, bring it and we’ll try to combine all the files at the end so we can calculate how many miles we all will rack up during the WWBB 2010 (spring thing).

cool about chris coming.
i ran into him over the winter in NYC at the toy fair.
thats about the best thing going to buggy events. next to buggying. seeing old friends and making new ones. speaking of new friends. i want to see how cheeszecheesze is doing with his buggying. last year he had a hard time going upwind and i gave him a few pointers.
this is going to be the longest week in history. but its always like that leading up to a buggy event.

I better start packing…

i just had an idea.
lets say we have a REAL meeting on saturday night. since everybody whos coming should be there by saturday and go over how can we make this event better. looking for ideas. like a week long event. who`s interested???. have a prize raffle(kites,line sets) with tickets with a price tag of course. maybe a cash 50/50. maybe a BBQ using the money from the 50/50.
you can see where i`m going with this.
how great would it be to be the east coast NABX. i can see it happening.
something to think about??????

Glen, Don and I were talking of the very same idea this afternoon. I’m awaiting word from RIP on just how much stuff can be given away. I have a few things to donate. I’ll pick up the 50/50 tickets tomorrow along with some $1 kites for kids. Good idea!

Sounds so good, makes me want to move down there! But then, who would help get the snowkite events together up here?lol I will be there, and I certainly will give any support I can! b-loo

well I have basically got the beast back together. I pick up the final parts tomorrow morning. I was thinking about testing it before the weekend but afraid of something else breaking. I just got a though that maybe i will build a buggie for the weekend. I don’t know wee shall see what the week brings. can’t wait for the weekend. took off and everything. haha

4 Days! YAY! I can’t wait to see the ‘beast’ in action! I’ve been playing with a “windskate” wing I got from Dino at DaKitez, with the buggy. Not it’s intended use, but a lot of fun if I can work out the bugs. Lookin’ forward to everyones input.(4!)

BTW, did ya see the vid from yesterday I posted on that girlie site? I been practicing up on my OBE’s for WW!

Accu Weather is saying Saturday North West Wind 14 mph and gusting to 37 (blokarts will be kicking ass) sunny and 70 degrees. Sunday: East South East wind 14 mph gusting to 29 mph. 69 degrees and mostly sunny.. this sounds good…These wind directions are good for our planned location of Wildwood Crest Beach near Apollo Motel.
