As LBJ pointed out, it looks like we have favorable conditions tomorrow afternoon. Who’s in?

My truck is already loaded. I am pretty sure Brian is showing up. I will get out of work about 3pm or so and head for the fishing pier. Still calling for South East winds at about 10 to 15 mph.

Guys I’m wishing big time I could join you for what looks like perfect conditions. Maybe the last good day before the season starts. I made some commitments before I checked the weather/winds. How dum is that.
Hope you have a blast!

Its about 10pm… I hit the beach at about 4pm…Dillon showed up about 5pm and Brian showed about 5;30pm. one other also…. but anyway when I got there the wind was about 6mph South East steady. I broke out the landboard and the 9.5 montana and kicked ass. I was riding south and north going about 8 blocks in either direction. which was good for me,,, never really went that rar on landboard… But the wind started to get stronger and stronger,,, it was really good… Dillon hit the buggy and then Brian hit the landboard,,,it was really good… long runs both ways,,,, as I said I really built some skill with the board,, ate sand a few times also but not that much. you guys would have loved it.

Glad you guys had good times. I would have been there if I could. :)

Glad to read you guys had fun, that’s half of the fun for me. LBJ, eating sand is the best way to improve skills (I am talking out of experience) I wish I could have ate some sand ;)

Oh, man. It was killing!
We were doing clean 3.2 mile runs from the roller coasters down to just North of the fence.

GPS data:
27.2 miles total (this was more in 2-3 hrs than all day on Sunday)
31.7 mph max (I think my buggy or my GPS has a governor – I can’t seem to clock anything over 29-32 mph)

LBJ was kicking some tail with his Montana and the board. I have some pics and video to prove it. Meanwhile, Brian was practicing his jumping over each of the water runoff ditches with his 12m FS Psycho and a board. I was flying a 5m fixed bridle in the buggy; powered up nicely and smiling from ear to ear. Dave was also there on a board – this was my first time meeting him. Dave, I have some pics of you flying, if you are interested let me know.

This was my first real Wildwood SE experience.

AoxomoxoA, for sure.
