Sat, Sun, Mon or Tue???

We’ll be there Saturday by 10 and staying through until Sunday. I spoke with Michael on the phone and the reports that it was a gusty but great day.

Still staying in the condo tonight and saturday night. Family is trying to talk me into leaving early sunday… but I will def be out Saturday. If it stops raining long enough to get some rides in. Wind direction looks great (SE 9-12mph after 1pm). Its just a question of whether the rain lets up enough to make it worthwhile.

Sunday, I’ll prob ride in the morning, and then head home around noon or so.

Hey, Today was really good. The blokart was kicking butt. The buggys were getting around good also. I got some pretty good video. Too tired right now to do anything with them tonight but will have something within a few days. tomorrow, as you say does not look that good. I have some things to do around here but if it looks good I may try to head out if the wind goes SE and its not raining. But I will be out there on Sunday Don said he would be here with Jesse around 10 or so. I will plan on being down there about the same time.

A few guys are on the beach right now,,,, kicking ass from what I hear,,,, making full runs up and down the beach,,, “perfect storm” conditions…. I am missing it, have to do things around here. We will be down there Sunday about 10, 11 ish most likely at the pier if NW winds. Chuck Shuman was down there yesterday with us.,,,, he road the blokart for awhile…………

All you radical dudes out there seriously missed out. Conditions turned out to be totally perfect today. Strong SE winds, no rain in sight. It was totallly epic. Best buggy ride i’ve ever had.

Started out right around 10-12mph winds, that eventually picked up to nearly 20. We had a total blast. Hopefully tomorrow is good.

Jesse I think you should make up some type of Virtual award called the “LB” award. Whomever has the “great” day should control it. It appears that Mike, Todd and his son have captured the award,,,,,,,,for a time/

I think we (Jesse, LBJ, me) can claim “LB” award back. After you guys left, we had a great session.

It was great because blocart and tandem buggies were chasing one after another and we got the whole thing in video.

I will do what I can…. I just finished downloading from camera to my computer. Next step is to save to Movie Maker. then create the masterpiece. But that might not be tonight…but the premire will be soon….perhaps within a day or two…..

Although Todd and his son did get an F-16 fighter jet to give them a wing wave today……

Bugger me, it would, of course, get amazing right after I leave. I had some fun on my 3-meter before I left, but it was really too much kite for the conditions. Besides, the family was very ready to head home. Hopefully next time I’ll be able to stay a little later. Glad to hear everyone had fun. Can’t wait to see the videos from Saturday and Sunday.

It was fun because we did a buggy tandem ride, filming blokart right next to us when we were going 25mph.

Frankly speaking, wind was too scary (remember? I was flying a 10M kite in that wind!!!) to give Corey and Joey a tandem ride. Didn’t want to hurt our future. On the other hand, who cares about Jesse and LBJ? If I flip the buggies, I am sure they would say “yeah baby! I captured it on camera! Let’s do it again!!!”

Yes it was scary; glad you didn’t go for a swim Brian! I wish we could have stay for the ride but getting that buggy back off the roof would have exhausted every bit of energy I had left. I have to come up with a better way to transport it after the Bigfoot transition.

Thanks Brian and Michael for the effort to make the transformation possible. I’m really excited to get some time in on the Bigfoot. We had a little pit crew session Saturday night at the hotel…

After a hard day of riding it was off to bed. Lucky for Corey I fell asleep early. He was able to sleep on the bed or it would have been the couch for sure.

I’m working on getting pictures up as well some video footage however the video camera isn’t cooperating with the computer.

I’ll keep you updated on progress.

Hey Jesse,, the last two videos I posted on Youtube,, they muted my audio, music,,,,something about “copyright” crap….well anyway,,,they have this option of “Audio Swapp” which didnt work of course… I will start the vid from Sunday,,,,maybe tonight if not tomorrow. I have a good song already in mind but the youtube people will most likely attack that also,,, is there a way I can post the videos on here and cut out the middle man?

Joe, best is to pick a music without rights on it, that solves all the problems.
of course if you spent too much time and want to use what you have you cold see if another site like vimeo.com, revver.com video.google.com or any of these will work with what you have.

You can as Ragden suggest upload it to his ftp server, and then we could download it, or stream it in media player.
There are also many sites around offering royalty free music (for personal or educational use) so that is totally OK to use.

Hey Jesse,,, I just tried to burn a disk for you and the 700mb disk was not big enough for the file so I have to get a bigger cd I guess. There is 25 minutes of video from the good session on Sunday… I will try again tomorrow.
