Blokarting is fun too at Wildwood

In addition to the kite buggies at Wildwood, blokarts are a fun way to spend a good day on a windy beach.

Don't try this in your backyard!

Kites come in all sizes, as a general rule the weaker the wind, the bigger the kite, another rule that applies in Power Kite Sports: the size of the kite is defined by the courage of the "power kiter"...

Don't try this in your backyard! Don't try this in your backyard!

Fantastisc balance.

Again Brain demonstrates great control and balance in this shot. An airplane belt bough on eBay and guts did the trick.

Fantastisc balance. Fantastisc balance.

Here again, the size of the kite and the courage of the "power kiter" make up for a good shot.

the beast roared on the crest beach

March 26th 2010 | Posted by justbugn

Wednesday turned out to be an awsome day. I got all my work done I needed to and i said the wind is still blowing so I hit the beach with the beast. I walked right down to the beach from my house on Denver ave and it rocked. I actually road do to the fishing pier and back at basically high tide. The city is fixing the beach and made an awsome playground for us. But I found out, what i feared, after about an 1 1/2 hrs that the plastic bearings in the wheeleez tire don’t hold up that well with speed. So I have to find metal bearings but the beast actual worked awsome, can’t wait for the buggy bash.

Ocean Pier Session this weekend

March 22nd 2010 | Posted by duloid

Looks like we might get lucky this weekend again..

Low tide around noon Saturday and Sunday 12.55 pm … SSE wind 9 +mph … another chance to bring big foils

Hopefully nothing gonna change … (only good changes allowed)

During the week we will get more rain so that should help keep the surface in the same shape as is now.

For buggy riders is whole beach from ocean to the dunes ride able and for landboarders at least 3/4.

no excuses guys … everyone have to come
