NJ Buggy Club

Hey whats happening this coming weekend? I think low tide is good this Sunday isn’t it? I think its around 1:30pm . Anyway another question… My cousin is thinking about getting into the kites and buggying.. However he is a big boy…..well he is in his 30’s but he weighs about 300lbs and is about 5 foot 8 inches tall so I told him I wasn’t sure he would get into a buggy…. Who knows the deal? And what about Sunday?

Just throwing it out there: The weather report for this Saturday Oct 18th,,,, NNE Winds averaging around 19mph which could mean 25 or alittle better for the North Beach area of North Wildwood… 2nd street … Low tide for Saturday is 5pm which is also good…. last time Don and I had this type of weather conditions we were averaging 30 to 35mph runs using a 1.5meter kite…. Any thoughts?

Man~ the more I do it, the more I want it!

Great time indeed.  Barnes, Mike and I got there 2nd street @ around 9 am.  Within 30 min, wind started to “fill” in.  LBJ showed up soon, then Luke and his brother Andy.  Then Don and later, Greg.

I was flying Don’s Neo 11M pretty much all day.  Later I tried Montana IV 7M.  Good kite.  Other rode with 5M size buggy kites.

Wind was about 13mph @ peak I think then lower later afternoon.  We all packed up @ around 5 pm.  Thank goodness for Luke’s sun block cream

At the end, Greg, LBJ, Mike, Barnes and I stopped by @ Sonic for greasy buggers.  Yummi!  Perfect way to end a great buggy day (at least for me

I just realized that there are some last comments on previous meeting post.  Sorry that I couldn’t respond on time.  I will make sure to update on our future gathering posts regarding when, where and who.

Anybody took some pictures?  I know LBJ did some video.  Hope his camera had a memory card in
