My mom, Jennie and I got here(OBX) last Thursday afternoon.? Wind was awesome!? I rushed to rental house, checked in and came back to kitesurfing place.? Guess what…. wind died so I didn’t even unpack my kites.
Friday, no wind.? Mom’s shopping day.
Saturday.? After morning shopping, we headed down to famous kiteboarding place.? No wind.? Luckly, Real Kiteboarding was demoing stand-up paddle board.? More fun than I thought.? But still no kiting.
Today, Sunday.? No wind in the morning.? Later afternoon, it looked as if it was picking up…..so I thought.? We drove south and stopped at first kiteable place.?? No wind but I HAD to get out.? So, I pulled out 15M kite.? Even with Jen’s help, I wasn’t going anywhere.? At the end, we agreed it was a good “exercise” for today.
I am going back home tomorrow morning.? During 3 days at world famous kiting place, OBX, I didn’t/couldn’t kiteboard at all.? Shame on me.? But I had a good time with my mom and Jen.

That is beyond frustrating. Sorry to hear about the bad wind, but thumbs up to you for keeping your chin up about it.
I hope your next trip turns out much more windy.
*As for me…am doin’ the family BBQ thing today…and the only nearby field is completely filled with people…* *sigh* Ah well. I’ll take a lesson from Brian the Patient and quit my whinin’. *
