Wow. That is truly insane. Very neat looking vehicle though.
i was there a few years ago when he tried it with the windjet. he got up to 98mph and lost a rear wheel. he must of skidded for a half a mile before coming to a stop. the lost wheel was way on the other side of the lake bed. i helped crew for him. but luckly i wasn`t in charge of putting wheels on. i only helped with the wing and pulling everything out of his trailer. seeing the wingjet going across the bed throwing up dust. if you didn`t know on better you would of thought it was jet powered.
i did get to sit in it and play with all the levers and pedals. very cool just to sit in it. i can only guess what it feels like to hit 126 mph.
WAY TO GO RICH.
one funny point. rich can`t buggy. really. i seen him trying to buggy and he had no idea how to fly the kite.
Ok, I am adding it to my toy list…..right under Blokart.
Thats hilarious that he cant fly a kite. Sounds like a pretty awesome experience though.
Hey Brian,
BloKarts are 10% off till April 2nd and I’ll pay shipping.
Can’t help you out with a “Greebird”.
It was so dusty when Rich set the record you couldn’t even see him.
