Dude, any ride would be great for me but I better take it easy for a bit. Two weeks ago I injured my back and I am still crooked, trying to get as much rest but with my family visiting it ain’t easy….
Dillon, sorry I didn’t get a chance to call you about the computer stuff neither….

I’d be up for it….depending on what day you would want to do it… How is the moon looking for these dates? full? Also last year Brian, Jesse and me and I think Don was there did a moonlight ride,,, it was pretty cool, stayed until the sun came up… only problem I noticed was as the night went on,,,or should I say morning….the damp air started to bogg down our kites and they would not stay in the air,,,so I guess we have to look at predicted humidity also… if thats posible.

I remember reading about the soggy kites.
Full moon is shown as a % above.
I was thinking Sat night/Sun morning and/or Sun night/Mon morning. The data indicates 99% (full moon) Sun-Mon. Too soon to tell on the weather but it’s not clear to me that the conditions will be favorable.

Any other locations look promising Sun-Mon?

20+ days here…I need some wind.

Don’t we wish we had some wind!
Note: Life Guards are on Saturdays and Sundays now till 5:30.

So me and Lyndsie went down on Sunday night. The conditions were not suitable for flying – way too much moisture in the air. As in, you couldn’t see more than a few feet.

We woke up late on Monday and the conditions were similar. Shortly after noon the sun burned off the moisture and made for a wonderful beach day. We weren’t the only ones that felt that way. The beach was busier than I expected for a Monday in the beginning of June. The lifeguards were out until 5pm.

As soon as the whistle blew at 5pm i was rigged up and ready to go. Not much beach left at that point but the wind was pretty good – 8-10 from the SSE. I had multiple runs from the convention center down to the fence and back.

27 days without wind and I was jazzed for a nice session. Short, but worth the wait.

Hey Dillion,
Don’t take much to get a “Buggy Fix” after 27 days of no Buggying.
I know how you can work out just a little bit of wind, you are a Master at that.
Glad you and Lyndsie had a good time.
