i like #24.
but i have one of those fancy kite stakes that dave from cal. makes. i won it a few years back for winning all 3 npw races. its real cool looking with a big smiling devil face on it.
i will give it up to this good cause.
if i can get a picture of it. i will. trust me its a cool looking stake. i won`t even use it out of fear of damaging it. it just sits in my power kite bag.

I would feel bad if we take what you “won.” Besides, we don’t even know what we are going to do with it. Let’s see how this race thing turns out.

DON`T feel bad. its my way of giving back to the club. like i said. i don`t use it and never will. i`m bad when comes to losing stakes. i went back to using an ol screwdriver or golf ball stake.

That is very nice of you to offer… Our idea was to have the stake make the rounds within the buggy club by each time we meet we have an informal race and whoever wins takes possession of the stake only to give it up to the next winner…. not just races either,, it could be whoever has the best OBE or something like that…..Brian mentioned about it could be the person who comes in 3rd place instead of 1st or whatever we decide for the day… this way everyone would have a chance at bragging rights and to take possession of the stake……

we do have something like that at nabx with a wooden tyki god. i won that for one year when i buggied naked and earned my buggy naked pin. after i buggied naked 3 other guys did it the same day and i won the god cause i started this buggy naked craze that day.
I WANT THIS STAKE TO MAKE THE ROUNDS WITHIN THE CLUB. of course if you guys want it.

I think it would be really cool to get one of those custom made stakes from the other link (one I posted), but when I asked him about the price of those stakes, they are rather expensive. However, I would be willing to chip in for a little bit more expensive stake. I think the price range was between 75 and 100 dollars for those stakes.

Buggyman, that is way to generous of you. I do think think we could, in good conscience, take that trophy from you for our little games. Please, keep your stake, its too cool to be bandied about.

$75 ~$100? Ouch. As much as I like to have one of those cool kite stakes and even with members’ donation, I think it’s just too much.

Remember, we started with LBJ’s suggestion and he was thinking about a cheap crappy trophy, we already have or he could pick up in garage sale. Then, I suggested $25 stake, and now it’s up to $100….

I don’t know… maybe we should stick to LBJ’s original suggestion, $1 trophy from garage sale…

Well I figured that the first award would go to the best looking buggyier so naturally I thought it would be me…..but I guess we can figure that out when the time comes…..

You know,,, I sitting here scrolling down and reading,,, thinking all the time the buggyman was being shipped to me and then I see Glenn’s post of the buggyman being shipped to him and Brian with his big “ITs Mine Suckers!” only to scroll down a little further to see that Glen got my email and “Poooooff” Brian is “The Sucker” life is sweet. Now it will have to be erned out of my hands,,,,Glen I will let you know when I get it. And of course if we hit the beach this weekend,, it will be with me so it looks as if Don, Me or Jesse will retain it by the end of the weekend…..I think this weeks competition should be “who is the shortest” buggier……….what do you tall guys think?

Well now…..in order to qualify,, she must fly a kite for at least 5 seconds and move in the buggy for at least 25 feet…..

i don`t know if you guys know. i had a nj buggy club banner made a number of years back. you might see it in a few pictures around the web. but i`m not giving that up just yet. that banner followed me all around the places i buggied that.

The Buggyman Award has arrived safe and sound and is ready for this weekend. Thanks again Glenn. We will take good care of it…. By default or not….I am the first recepiant of the award. The question is now who will get it next?

I think each time we meet,,,,,it should be passed off to another member….. Weather that be for a race or some other reason… What do you guys think about if there is not a race that all agree upon….then whoever has possession can pass it off to whomever they want and say what the reason is. Example,,,,,,if for no other reason,, we could say ok nothing memorble today but “So and So” traveled the furthest today,,,or so and so tried the hardest,, the reasons could be endless if we dont have a race or other type event. The idea would be to share and let it make the rounds within our group. Blaa Blaa Blaa………..it looks really cool.
