Labor Day’s coming!
August 4th, 2008 by Brian
I believe after labor day (Sept 1st), life guards will be gone then we can buggy @ WWB again, right?
This fall, when wind is good and right (SE), we should do a buggy race.
Can’t wait!

I think the Life Guards are on weekends only til the second weekend in Sept.
LBJ should be able to conform that.
I too am for the off season.

I don’t know where I got that info but somehow I was thinking right after Labor day, they are all gone.
Anyway, I would say, as soon as life guards are gone (whenever that is), we pick a good SE wind day and meet up at WWB.

I think last year we met up on or around Sept 29th? That sound right?
I remember the morning was alright, but it started getting very people-ish not long after that. I remember a sunbather gave Glenn some complaints for being too close or something (which I doubt happened..he’s like a buggy-god).
Anyway… I can’t wait to get back to WW, but maybe we should look at something a little later than end of September? What do you think, Joe?
Again,..don’t mean to be over-cautious…but if WWBuggyBash2008’s going to have more than a handful of kiters..maybe we ought shoot for a more beach-empty-ish date range?
Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
