Keeping the site alive.

June 23rd 2009 | Posted by LBJ

Hey everyone>

Just dropping in a new post to check on everyone. Its Tuesday June 23rd, not much action here on the site mostly because our season is in slow mode. However with all the clouds I guess the beaches have not been too busy with bathers. Im still watching conditions here in case I have to hit the beach at any given time. Today the wind direction is just not right. Anyway we can always do a day of just static flying… if the wind is strong and even if the tide is not right we can always find room here on the beach to fly, maybe do some jumping and such. Even when the beach is full of people there is still room for static flying especially at North Beach. Well how about everyone just sounded off here to let us know what your up too and maybe we can do a day of static flying………

Dude,
I enjoy hang out with you and being in Wildwood but driving 7 hours roundtrip for some static flying does not make it.
Thanks for the offer.

See you in September!

Unfortunately, I am in the same boat. 8hr round trip for static flying isnt going to work for me.

I did ride at The Bowl last weekend and had a blast. Road 15 miles or so, with a high speed of 33mph. Was a fun day.

Looking at possibly going kitesurfing this weekend, but winds are looking light at best. Might not work out, hard to say…

Hey Duloid, did jesse get back to you with help. the only way I know how to get to the page is logging into the site and going to one of my old posts and clicking on “Edit” then it brings you to the page where you can start a new post.
when are you coming back?

I would be up for a 2.5 hr drive for a little flying get-together this summer…otherwise, we will have to wait until Sept.!
