June 9th, Good Time.

Yesterday I detected a North East wind so I loaded up the truck and went to North Beach.?? Got there around 4pm just as Low Tide set in.?? It was cloudy and the wind was about 15mph.?? About 15 bathers within the entire area from the point to the far West end.?? One life guard.?? Took out the blokart and was going from point to west end rock pile and back,,,, hitting 30 mph going East and about 25 West bound.?? Real good time….. finally had to stop because is was getting late… kept telling myself?? “ok one more run”.?? Another guard showed up to help the one lone pack up,,, I knew him and asked if he wanted to try out the kart,,,, gave them both lessons and they were riding up and down the beach within a matter of minutes.?? They loved it… of course and Don may have another customer sooner or later…….?? Brian and I were talking about going out today but the wind was just not quite right,, more East North East today than yesterday.?? Well,,, the season kicks in next week with the schools closing..?? So mid-day runs will be scarce,,,, however if the day is cloudy and its predicted that way the beach may actually have a real lite crowd…?? The other option is very early morning runs or late evening runs…. Its dark by about 8:30pm so if the tide is low later in the day it may be posible to get a run in,, more so on North Beach because alot less people go to that beach… Well just something to think about……..
