Saturday I was tired from Moonlight buggy but after more than 16 hour sleep, I felt recharged and decided to go to local spot for kiteboarding on Sunday morning. On the way, I called Mr. Barnes and we decided to meet at Dewey beach.
When I got there it wasn’t that much. I pulled out my SA2 15M but still wasn’t enough. I had to walk upwind and ride…….. doing same thing many times to stay in one spot. Then Ryan showed up…. with some wind.
I packed up that big kite and pulled out 12M and flew it rest of the day. After a while, I gave it to Ryan. He didn’t seem to be going anywhere…….sigh…..
So, I gave him some pointers, then magic happened. He was actually riding!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes. He and I had a couple of kiteboarding trips before but I’ve never seen him riding. Now, he is actually getting up on the board and moving forward, controlling the kite at the same time!!! Unbelievable. I never thought this day would come.
Way to got, Ryan. You are officially a kiter now!
LBJ, if Mr. Barnes can do it, you can do it. (sorry Ryan, lol) Come on down and ride with us!!!

Ah~ I’ve always had faith in you, Barnes. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have let you use my over $1000 kite, would I?
