It is now official, fun will be up north at Tug Hill or in Wildwood (probably north too:)).
???
As I just said to Don I cannot commit yet, but conditions start to look faverable for Wildwood at least, great for kite buggy, Dry, cold (40) South wind (14mph) low tide around 3pm, everything except tide can change, so I’ll play it by ear. LBL, let us know what you do (you’re not in Tug Hill too ae you?).
Can you guys bring good pictures back from Tug Hill or video? I’d love to see more…..
@ JOe, if I ever make it to Wildwood I’ll bring my blokart along….

Hey I am diff in for tomorrow , Sunday, and I may take off from work Monday also let me know what you guys are doing.
The temperture is real good for Monday. Sunday is good also…..
Hey Also,,,, I found a very large field (area) only five minutes from my house that would be great for Snowkiting if we ever get snow here.. I will try to find a satilite photo of the area and post it. It was a farm field but is owned by the county now…. so we can use it.
Jesse and I will be at North Beach around 10:30 Sunday for our prebuggy (blokart)breakfast.
May have to go to Apollo Beach with south winds.
Hope to see you there.
Ok,,,,keep your cell phone on….and or leave me a message when and if you make a move before I get down there…I will most likely be down there around noon or so…….
Will do !
So, how did buggy ride go? We had awesome time!
Ryan, Greg, Michael, and I went out to a field on Saturday night at around 7 pm. Yes, night and 7pm. Moon was hiding behind thick cloud most of the time but we managed to ride until 11 pm. It’s amazing how much you can on snow at night.
Next time, I will make sure to take some pictures. Every time I go out, I am just too busy riding…
Got a zip file with some pictures I took, and a couple video clips of Ryan and Brian riding. Unfortunately, no video clips of Greg. Got a couple pictures though. The whole zip file (which is pretty small) is available at the following link:

Enjoy!
hey it sounds like you guys had a great time.. I will have to make it one of these days. Right now just alittle too time consuming with the kids and things but I will have to make it one of these days….. Anyway we, Don, Jesse and I went to North Beach on Sunday. South wind, low tide. It was good, steady wind and we were buggying and Blokarting. It was a real good Blokart session. Jesse really liked the new blokart and Don is getting one in Feburary. So we should have enough for all to share when everyone is together however its best to have your own because once you start riding you dont want to stop and give it up. I am hitting the beach again today,,, strong wind predicted and warm about 60 degrees……..
Going out today again? Nice! Keeping up with LBJ reputation
Glad you guys had a good time. We should have SE wind soon. It’s been too long and it’s over due. When it happens, I will be the first one. See you soon.
Sounds like fun. I might have to actually try it sometime. Though, once I get my kitebuggy going, i dont want to stop that either… heh.
Since I typically fail at reading tide charts, what are the expected tides for this coming weekend (20 & 21 Dec). I have plans for Saturday already, but if conditions are good, I might make a trip out to WildWood on Sunday. Otherwise it will be a sleep in day…
Hey ragden try this link: http://www.nwoem.net/weather_page.htm
Anyway,,,I and my friend Derick went out to NOrth Beach today. The wind was South again and was blowing pretty good.,,I guess around 15 to 20mph. He was using the blowkart most of the time and I tried it for a short bit.,,,I let him have most of the time since he is here only once every few weeks,, and I am trying to convince him to buy one,,, which might be soon hopefully. Anyway I was getting some good two wheel action and moving pretty fast. Then I tried the 2 meter beamer with the buggy,,It was ok but wind was alittle too strong so I switched to the landboard and the 1.5meter… I was moving pretty good back and forth especially for the wind speed but it was a good time.
Cool. Sounds like fun. I realized my problem with reading the tides, i kept looking at GMT. Which throws things off a couple hrs. Looks like tides next weekend are a bit early… if the wind is right, i’ll be there.. otherwise … not
