We (me, LBJ, ragden, and Todd & Corey) started at South fence early Sunday morning. Later, Duloid joined us at fishing pier. Wind started NW, 15mph + and very gusty. By the time we passed fishing pier, it shifted to WNW, making it harder to go back South direction.

We made all the way to North beach and wide open all flat surface was greeting us. It was the best beach condition I’ve ever seen in North beach. No water in the middle, no pot holes but all flat surface all the way to water.

By the time we got to North beach, wind was straight West, still 15mph but much steadier than before, making it best condition for North beach. Ankur (new member) joined us at North beach.

As usual, we had a nice lunch picnic between sessions. We rode until we ran out of room due to tide.

I dare to say that we utilized wind and beach 100% that day, no waste! It’s amazing that we were able to cover the whole Wildwood beach that day. Downwinder rocks!

A couple of notes:

1. Petra walked from fishing pier to North beach.?? WOW

2. Jen made a surprised visit to North beach

3. This is not very important but ragden set a club speed record, 41.5mph but who cares.

I’ll be bringing my camera, but might be too busy riding to get many shots. I’ll see what I can do.

DC SOD FARM and WildWood beach? -

I kind of lost track of who will be where but if I make it out this weekend (Saturday) it will be in Wildwood for Kite buggying and blokarting (Don, please don’t forget my blokart sail) .

Ragden will be playing with his kite buggy and power kites near DC (make sure to take pics, because you are right, it could be a good alternative as we don’t have to look the tides…

Brian will be looking at his kites and kitebuggy but not joining any of us

Todd is hoping his boy will be better (we do too) but I am not sure where Todd will be kiting, or playing with his kite buggy, Corrie get well!!!

It is probably one of the largest places I have ever seen for riding, short of the beach.

There is a waiver required before flying there, and we need to be mindful of the location of freshly seeded grass, but otherwise it could be a pretty amazing place to fly. As I just said to Don I cannot commit yet, but conditions start to look faverable for Wildwood at least, great for kite buggy, Dry, cold (40) South wind (14mph) low tide around 3pm, everything except tide can change, so I’ll play it by ear. LBL, let us know what you do (you’re not in Tug Hill too ae you?).

Can you guys bring good pictures back from Tug Hill or video? I’d love to see more…..
