Team Halfbreed

Corey and I started this project last year and never got a chance to take it out for a true shakedown run. The boat is a 17' Hobie cat that was a gift from a good friend. It came with a bent mast and no sails, oh well it???s free. Right? With a lot of effort we restored the hulls and replaced the tramp. You will be seeing footage from two different cameras, one being the ContourHD (for most of the video) and the second camera of course the GoProHD. Be sure to watch some of the bloopers at the end and feel free to download this if you care. You must be signed in and a member of Vimeo to do so.

I have some ideas on how to cure the bar roll with a couple of pulleys clipped into the chicken loop so I can use the de-power, other than that I think it'll rock. Comments and Criticism always welcome

Wildwood Buggy Bash 2010 Fall will be happening:
October 22, 23, and 24, 2010

The Apollo will be closed so they are out of the running for Host Motel.
LBJ is talking with the Wildwood Days Inn (across the street from the Convention Center) and Montego Bay (end of the Boardwalk in North Wildwood), and some others.
Please check them out and give us some feedback and suggestions.

I have their contact information and can make the call, but I have this sneaking suspicion, they are going to wonder at numbers. I can see what I can do though. They did knock 10 bucks off our room for the night just from the discussion we had about it…

What a great year it was! Filled with epic rides, good friends and good times!!!.

What a better way to celebrate this and thank everyone who showed up this year with a last buggy ride for 2009?

“Last Chance – Farewell 2009 Buggy Ride” mini event is born!!!

Don and myself wanted to personally thank everyone from the NJ Buggy Club (members, friends and supporters) for the great year we had. We will be buggying in Wildwood for the last time this year on Tuesday December 29th 2009.

In addition to kite buggying or blokarting I will take action pictures that will be used on the PowerKite Online Store that we will roll out in 2010 (we will keep everyone posted on this and make sure to have great offers for the NJBC members of course).

I know this is a short notice for such a great idea, but this is your last chance to join us for a great day on the beach this year.

And the snowkiting season starts with a bang. We had a BLAST last weekend up at Tugg Hill. Brian (and friend), Gregg & Jackie, Sunnie and I joined up with Bob, Jan, Jackie, and Dave up there and had some good times.

Wind was a little light Saturday, but really fun. Sunday was nasty. Strong, gusty winds, with sleet coming down on us. But we still had a good time. Looking forward to the next trip.

stable east wind helped a lot … it was a great session … we did some progression (finally :) )

we had over 3 hours of ridding time …
